• Is not nominated as a Minister of Religion by a religious institution, or dependent family member.

The second installment (payable before grant of visa 494) is A$4890 if:

• The applicant is at least 18 at the time of application; and
• Is assessed as not having functional English; and
• Who satisfies the secondary criteria for the grant of a Subclass 494 (Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional) visa; and
• Is not nominated as a Minister of Religion by a religious institution, or dependent family member.

The second installment (payable before grant of visa 494) is nil if:

• Is not nominated as a Minister of Religion by a religious institution, or dependent family member.

Subclass 494 Visa Application Charge

Base application charge for subclass 482 visa fees is A$3,290; Additional applicant charge for an applicant who is at least 18: A$3,290; Additional applicant charge for an applicant who is less than 18: A$825.

Subclass 494 Nomination Fees for Employer Skilling Australian Fund Levy

Employers must pay the applicable nomination training contribution charge referred to as the Skilling Australians Fund (SAF) levy. The purpose of the SAF levy is for employers to contribute to the broader skills development of Australians.
