Subclass 482 Nomination Fees for Employer Skilling Australian Fund Levy

Employers must pay the applicable nomination training contribution charge referred to as the Skilling Australians Fund (SAF) levy. The purpose of the SAF levy is for employers to contribute to the broader skills development of Australians.

- Other business (annual turnover of $10 million or more) - A$1800

Subclass 482 Second Installment Payable Before Visa Grant:

The second installment (payable before grant of visa 482) is Nil if:

- The applicant is at least 18 at the time of application; and
- Is assessed as not having functional English; and
- Who satisfies the primary criteria for the grant of a Subclass 482 (Skills in Demand) visa; and
- Is not nominated as a Minister of Religion by a religious institution, or dependent family member.

The second installment (payable before grant of visa 482) is Nil if:

- The applicant is at least 18 at the time of application; and
- Is assessed as not having functional English; and
- Who satisfies the secondary criteria for the grant of a Subclass 482 (Skills in Demand) visa; and
- Is not nominated as a Minister of Religion by a religious institution, or dependent family member.
